Siu-wah, a Chinese youth, just finishes his study in Japan and goes back to his hometown in China. From the neighbors he learns that his father is seduced by the Japanese to work in a mine and dies there. His mother also dies of grief. Siu-wah decides to find out the truth from the town. |
